Mary’s Dogs Run for the Dogs: Our First Post-Covid Event!

May 29, 2021

Saturday, May 29th was the Run for the Dogs, a 5K race/2 mile walk for Mary’s Dogs Rescue and Adoption, and the New Hampshire Coalition for the Support of Service Dogs was there. Run for the Dogs was held at the Deerfield Fairgrounds and was our first fundraising event in over a year. Even though it was cold, wet, and rainy, it was an enjoyable time. It was so good to see all the dogs and people who turned out for this event, and we look forward to seeing you all at more events throughout the year!

Special thanks to NHCSSD member Breeze Pet Salon LLC for lending us their vendor booth for the day! We also saw pet photographer and NHCSSD member, Sit.Stay.Smile at the event!

About Mary’s Dogs

Mary’s Dogs Rescue and Adoption serves as a resource to communities in Southern New Hampshire by providing education and information on responsible pet ownership, including the importance of spay/neuter, positive behavior training, and good nutrition. They rescue approximately 600 dogs annually from kill shelters in the south, re-homing them throughout New England.
